“Hate is the acid reflux of undigested life” great line, still digesting it :)

My other comment on this article received multiple likes and with each additional like I felt more disingenuous because I didn't actually understand the article. I then printed it out and read it thoroughly. Sharing some thoughts :) Hate is an interesting word and a loaded word. In pre-"Hum Apke Hain Kaun" days, you'd expect Mohnish Bahl to play a certain negative character and but in HAHK the situation changed much to everyone's surprise. 'Hate' is the Mohnish Bahl of this article. This was my feeble attempt at an AMV style pun. The 'hate' here is something purer. A refusal to accept anything but the truth (and the beauty associated with it). And sometimes this feeling is hard to articulate but that doesn't mean that it is not authentic. But fake hate is as bad as fake love as it lacks integrity. Fake hate is Maine Pyar Kiya's Mohnish Bahl, where Salman gets beaten up due to lack of Mohnish's integrity and character while pure hate HAHK's Mohnish Bahl who scolds Salman for not being honest about his feelings. Thank you for the very thoughtful article!! :)

Great read. But isn't indifference for absolute intellectual honesty. Why use hate?
